A pub customer was faced with more than he bargained for after a practical joke left his car covered in cling film.

The Land Rover was wrapped up in the car park of the Maidens Head in Wincheap.

Bar staff at the pub said it was “banter" between them and customers and the owner would not mind.

Manager Donna Raines said: “We did it as a practical joke on the owner of the car but people that are not using the pub car park park here as well and it’s for customers only."
