CCTV image of woman released after robbery in Burgate area of Canterbury

Detectives investigating a robbery have released a CCTV image.

It comes after a woman was reportedly pushed before she had her handbag stolen in the Burgate area of Canterbury.

An investigation was launched into the incident which happened at about 11.10pm on Saturday, May 4.

Police have now published a CCTV image of a woman they want to speak to.

Anyone who recognises the woman, or witnesses who have yet to speak to police, is urged to call police on 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/73965/24.
