This is Scoop and he is set to join the frontline in the fight against dog poo.
The courageous canine wants to help clean up our pavements, parks and play areas and leave them faeces-free.
As part of the Gazette and Faversham News’s Pick Up The Poo campaign, Scoop wants you to tell him about hotspots so we can help end dog dirt disasters. He is sick of irresponsible dog owners who let their pets leave a mess and then do not clean it up.
He said: “Letting your dog foul the pavement and then not clear it up is not only sheer laziness, it’s disgusting.
“It’s a menace, it’s dangerous and is a prime example of anti-social behaviour.
“As the nights draw in and days get shorter, dog poo becomes even more of a menace.
“It’s harder to see and often lurks under the leaves that have fallen from the trees.
“We have to take action to stop people stepping in the poisonous piles that blight all sorts of areas.”
You can email him at scoop@thekmgroup.co.uk or tweet him via @scoop_the_dog.If you know a place where dogs do their business and it is not cleaned up regularly, let Scoop know.
Call the newsdesk on 01227 475985 and we will pass on your message.
We also want to hear from you if you support our campaign, especially if you are a responsible owner who does clear up after their dog.
