Canterbury man charged with breaching restraining order and being drunk and disorderly outside city Superdrug

A man is due before magistrates after being arrested following drama outside Canterbury's Superdrug yesterday.

Officers searched and arrested a shirtless man at the taxi rank to the side of the high street store shortly before 1pm.

Police stationed in Canterbury Lane, outside Superdrug

Quinton Taylor has since been charged with breaching a restraining order and being drunk and disorderly.

The 48-year-old, of Artillery Gardens, is due to appear before Medway Magistrates' Court today.

Passersby, near to the outside area at McDonald’s and the market, watched on as police dealt with the incident.

Patrol vehicles were at the scene from 12.45pm and left a short while later after speaking with a distressed woman outside Superdrug.

Officers were called out to the city before 1pm today
