Police, paramedics and fire fighters are at the scene of a serious collision on a country road near Sturry this morning.

It happened shortly after 7.45am on the Hoath Road and involved two vehicles which resulted in one person being trapped in the wreckage.

The road has been closed between Bredlands Lane and Hicks Forstal Road while work is ongoing to recover the vehicles.
