A new film by renowned director Danny Boyle is set to shoot in Kent this spring.

The search is on for people with shaggy hair to star as extras in the unknown project, which will be filmed near Canterbury.

Casting company Two 10 has advertised the paid work and is keen to hear from "those with great hair" in the Trainspotting director's new film.

They are searching for people with a 70s trim, grown out "lockdown locks", rocker, hipster, mop cuts and long or retro hair.

Men and women aged 18 to 65 can apply and will only be needed for a couple of days in April, making it possible to work as an extra alongside other work commitments.

Experience is not essential, but a "positive can do attitude and good vibes are a must", according to the casting company's website.

It is not known what the project is, but it was reported last year that he was working on a film called Methuselah.

This project is rumoured to be based on a biblical tale of the biblical figure, who lived to be 969 and showed no signs of aging.

Danny Boyle confirmed he would be directing the 25th James Bond film, No Time to Die in 2018, but later dropped out, reportedly due to a dispute over the script.
