Car fire at Canterbury East Railway Station

Firefighters were called to a car fire at Canterbury East railway station in the early hours of this morning.
The vehicle, a lime green Nissan Micra was left in the car park.
Kent Fire and Rescue attended the scene to put out the flames at about 5am.
A high pressure hose reel was used and overheating is said to be the cause.
There were no reported injuries.
