Fire crews were called to a blaze in a city centre flat yesterday evening.

The cause of the fire, which broke out in St Margarets Street, Canterbury, is not currently known.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to bring the flames under control.

No injuries have been reported.
