Four men arrested following stabbing in Canterbury

Four men who were arrested after a teenager was stabbed in Canterbury have been released on police bail.

Officers went to South Street off Sturry Road just before midnight on Friday and found a 19-year-old man had been injured.

He was tended to by paramedics and is said to be in a stable condition in hospital.

The group, who are all from London, were arrested in London Road in the early hours of yesterday.

A 23-year-old man and two 22-year-old men have been bailed until 16 December while a 19-year-old man has been bailed until 17 December.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the assault or who has information about the incident to call Kent Police on 01843 222289 or Kent Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 quoting reference ZY/031074/15.
