Police arrest three men after an alleged assault in Headcorn Drive, Canterbury

A man was reportedly taken to hospital after being attacked by a group of men.

Police were called to Headcorn Drive, Canterbury shortly after 5.20pm on Thursday (July 18).

Officers arrived following reports a man was being assaulted by multiple people.

It is alleged the victim was attacked after stepping out of his vehicle when the men approached him.

A spokesman for the force said: “Officers attended and, following a search of the area, three men, aged 19, 23, and 25, were arrested in connection with the incident.”

All three have since been released on bail while the investigation continues.

Although the victim was reported to have been taken to hospital, he is not believed to have suffered any serious injuries.
