A crash involving a lorry, learner car and other vehicle has sparked delays on the A2 near Canterbury this morning.

Police were called just after 9.30am to reports of the accident on the London-bound carriageway before the A28 junction at Wincheap.

No one was seriously hurt, but a woman was treated for minor injuries after another accident on the same stretch just after 9am.

Officers received reports of the separate accident as two cars had collided and were blocking the road.

Police spokesman Jon Green said: "There have been two collisions on the A2 London-bound today.

"Both incidents are causing congestion."
