Jamie Porter from Canterbury charged after East Kent burglaries

A 32-year-old man has been charged following 11 burglaries and thefts across East Kent.

Cash, jewellery, power tools, bank cards, vehicles and number plates were among the items reported stolen in Canterbury, Deal, Herne Bay and Ashford since October.

Jamie Porter, of Sussex Avenue in Canterbury, was arrested yesterday and later charged with fraud and conspiracy to commit burglary.

He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court via video link today.
