Man injured in crash in Simmonds Road, Canterbury

A man has been taken to hospital after being injured in a crash.

The accident, which involved a car and motorbike, took place in Simmonds Road, Canterbury near Kwik Fit at around 3.30pm.

There have been long traffic delays in the area after the A28 in Wincheap was left partially blocked.

A police spokesman said: "Kent Police received a report of a collision involving a car and a motorbike at 3.32pm on Wednesday 28 November 2018.

"Officers attended the scene in Wincheap, Canterbury. A man was taken to a local hospital as a precaution."

Police have now left the scene.
