Police probe after man ‘stabbed’ in Canterbury Lane, Canterbury

A man was reportedly stabbed following an argument outside a snooker lounge.

Emergency services were called to Canterbury Lane, Canterbury, after receiving reports of an assault on Sunday, April 21 at 3.20am.

It has since been reported the incident followed an earlier argument outside Cousins Pool and Snooker Lounge in Lower Bridge Street, a short walk away.

Paramedics took the individual to hospital with injuries consistent with stab wounds.

They are not life-threatening.

Officers are now investigating the alleged assault and appealing for witnesses to come forward.
