Kent Police appeal for information after man tries to lure boy to house in Sturry Road, Canterbury

A boy was taken by the hand by a strange man who tried to lure him to his house.

The youngster was in Sturry Road, Canterbury, at 2.45pm yesterday when he was approached.

He jumped on to his bike and rode home.

Police are appealing for information.

Police say the man is white, 5ft 5ins, bald, of medium build and with a scar or tattoo on his right cheek.

He was wearing a brown jacket and black top.
