Police are hunting a group after a man was left with serious injuries following a street attack.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses to come forward after the attack, which involved about seven suspects, unfolded in St George’s Street, Canterbury.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was with two friends when he was approached by the group who punched and kicked him to the ground.
But he managed to flee the area and report the attack to police despite suffering head injuries requiring hospital treatment.
The attack is said to have happened near the junction with Whitefriars Street at about 5am on Sunday.
Officers are asking for anyone who might have mobile phone or dashcam footage taken in the area, to contact police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/217754/23.
