Image of man released after attack on railway worker at Canterbury East station

An image of a man has been released after a railway worker was reportedly attacked as he checked passengers’ tickets.
Transport police have launched an investigation following the assault at the barrier of Canterbury East station.
Officers say the staff member suffered injuries during the incident on Monday at about 8.15am.
The spokesperson for the force said: “When the member of staff asked a man to see his ticket, the man approached the member of staff in an aggressive manner, making verbal threats and then assaulted the victim, causing him to fall to the ground with injuries to his face.
"The man then proceeded to run out of the station.”
An image taken on a body-worn camera has been released by officers, who they believe may have information that could help their investigation.
