Paramedics and police were called to Adisham Railway Station near Canterbury following a 'medical incident'.

Officers confirmed they attended the scene at around 3.40pm.

Rail services were affected with some trains unable to stop at the station.

It meant passengers on the Dover to Faversham line had to travel to Bekesbourne or Canterbury East before returning to the village.
