Man charged with scrawling graffiti on memorials in Canterbury's Dane John Gardens and in Stone Street, Faversham

A man has been charged with vandalising war memorials in Canterbury and Faversham, which were both daubed with graffiti.
Homeless Stephen Bicker, 47, is accused of scrawling a poppy image and the words "sold ya" on the memorial to the Royal East Kent Regiment in the Dane John Gardens and the same word on the memorial in Stone Street, Faversham.
He also faces another charge of criminal damage to a bridge in Ospringe Road, Faversham, and is due to appear by video link at Medway Magistrates Court today..
A second man, Harry Regan, 19, of Abbots Road, Faversham, has been charged with criminal damage to a subway wall in Wincheap and possessing cannabis.
He has been bailed to appear at Canterbury Magistrates' Court on November 28.
