Missing girls from Canterbury and London found 'safe and well' after abduction and modern slavery charges

Two missing teenagers at the centre of a police hunt have been found safe.

The teenage girls were last seen on Friday and Sunday

Metropolitan Police confirmed the girls have been found

Since their disappearance a 20-year-old man at an address in Scotland was arrested by officers earlier today and remains in custody at a Police Scotland facility.

A 54-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday.

Jawwad Akram, who’s from Edgware in north-west London, indicated not guilty pleas to two allegations made against him at Willesden Magistrates earlier today.

He's due in court again in November

Detectives from the Met’s North West Command Unit are investigating and inquiries continue.

Both girls are "safe and well" and are being supported by specialist officers.
