Motorcyclist dies after crash on A257 near Littlebourne between Canterbury and Sandwich

A motorcyclist has died following a crash on a major route.

The collision involving a green Range Rover happened on the A257 near Canterbury.

The 58-year-old biker from the city was airlifted to a London hospital with serious injuries following the ordeal on July 19 but has since died.

Police are seeking more information on the incident, which unfolded between Littlebourne and Wingham, near the junction with Cherville Lane.

A spokesman said: “Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened, or has dashcam footage of the collision or the moments leading up to it.

“Dashcam footage can be uploaded using the online portal.
