A pensioner has been arrested after a suitcase was stolen from a woman while she suffered an epileptic seizure in Canterbury.
The 69-year-old man was detained by police this morning following the theft at the city's bus station in St George's Lane two months ago.
The man, from Whitstable, remains in custody on suspicion of theft.
Iceland worker Nicola Kennedy was the owner of the £80 Cath Kidston cabin bag which was stolen.
Following a trip to Canterbury from her home in Selsted, the 32-year-old was about to get on a bus before she "zoned out" during an epileptic seizure.
Upon coming back around, she discovered her bag - which had an iPad inside - had been stolen.
At the time of the incident, she said: "It makes me feel sick. They completely took advantage of my state.
Nicola Kennedy speaks to KMTV about her ordeal
"How can someone sleep at night knowing they have done such a horrible thing?"
