Two police cars and a van were seen at a train station due to a “fare evasion”.
Officers were called to Canterbury East this morning to assist with the incident but no arrests were made.
A fine, however, was handed to the person involved.
A British Transport Police (BTP) spokesman said: “This was a fare evasion incident BTP were asked to assist.
“No arrests were made, but a fixed penalty notice was issued by rail enforcement officers.”
Pictures show six officers stood outside the station alongside two cars and a police van.
Southeastern has been contacted for more information.
