Olympic bronze for Kent horseman

One of the country’s leading horsemen, who grew up near Canterbury, has won a bronze medal as a member of the GB eventing team at the Beijing Olympics.
It is the second Olympic medal for William Fox-Pitt, who also won a silver with the team at Athens in 2004.

Mr Fox-Pitt learned to ride at Knowlton Court, near Wingham, where his parents still live and he visits several times a year.
He now lives in Dorset with his young family.
