There was chaos on the railway last night after a person was hit by a train.
Southeastern says the incident happened at Sturry in Canterbury.
The operator confirmed in a tweet to a passenger that a person had been hit by a train.
Power to the lines was switched off and no trains were able to run between Canterbury West and Ramsgate.
Passengers travelling from Ashford to Ramsgate were being diverted via Dover Priory, along with trains from Ramsgate to London Charing Cross and London St Pancras that normally travel via Canterbury West.
