Firefighters and police have been spotted outside an empty department store in a city centre.
A fire engine was seen parked by the former Nasons in Canterbury high street.
They were seen outside the shop at 3.30pm today.
Nasons closed in September 2018 and has sat empty ever since.
Earlier this month a £26 million redevelopment of the site was given the green light after being stalled for three years.
The shop sits opposite the also long closed Debenhams.
A fire service spokesman said they were called to the scene to support the police.
The firefighters were there for just under an hour, between 3pm and 4pm.
The spokesman added: “The scene was passed into the care of Kent Police. No further action was required by crews.”
When approached for more details, a police spokesman said: "I can’t see any calls we have had to that area or arrests made there this afternoon."
