Robbers in red hatchback threaten victim with knives

WITNESSES are being sought to the knifepoint robbery of a 21-year-old man on Cossington Road, Canterbury.
The victim was walking along the road just after 2am on Tuesday when a small red hatchback car passed him and pulled over opposite the Air Cadets building.
A white man and a black man then got out of the car and surrounded him before both produced knives.
The black man then threatened to cut the man. Both men searched through the victim’s pockets, taking his wallet and Nokia mobile phone, as well as a silver chain from around his neck.
The men then got back in their car and drove off, possibly toward New Dover Road.
The white man is described as being aged in his 20s, about 5ft 10in tall and of proportionate build. He wore a dark denim jacket, a beanie and a baseball cap on top.
The black man was also aged in his 20s, about 5ft 8in tall and was also of proportionate build. He wore a red jumper.
