Roman funeral plaque unearthed

A TEAM of archaelogists in Canterbury has unearthed the only intact Roman funeral plaque ever to be discovered in the city.
It has been dug up on a construction site off Market Way owned by developer David Wilson Homes.
But on closer inspection, it was discovered there had also been a Roman burial there and a skull was found underneath.
