Police search for good Samaritans who helped attack victim in Canterbury

Police are searching for two good Samaritans who stepped in to stop an assault on a woman in Canterbury.

The pair shouted at a man to stop attacking the victim near the Tourtel Road roundabout in Military Road, between 11pm and midnight on Sunday.

The woman, aged in her 20s, was said to have known her attacker.

She was not seriously injured during the incident and walked home afterwards.
