Mamma Mia! How could you resist a workshop with one of the stars of the hit film?

Around 70 people couldn’t and turned up at Body and Mind in Canterbury for two sessions with Rachel McDowall, who appears in the film as Lisa.

Rachel, who also plays a CIA agent in the new James Bond film Quantum of Solace, took them all through the songs, dances and scenes from the Abba-inspired musical.

Each three-hour workshop was followed by a question and answer session.

The day was organised by Stage Antics School of Performing Arts, which has centres in Faversham, Herne Bay and Ashford.

Ms McDowall brought with her some personal items from the fllm, including a hat she wore and invitations to post show parties and these were raffled in aid of Children in Need.
