Flooding caused by Storm Henk has forced a slip road onto a major Kent route to shut.

Motorists hoping to join the A2 coastbound at Womenswold will need to find alternative routes after the entry slip road off the A260 was closed this morning.

It comes amid a yellow weather warning for wind in Kent as Storm Henk hits the UK.

The caution has been in force since 8am today and ends at 9pm.

Storm Gerrit has already battered the county last week as a Swale shopping centre saw damage.

Parts of some shops became detached and flew off in the wind, with firefighters having to evacuate the area.
