Takeaway delivery worker pushed to floor in attempted robbery

Police are hunting two suspects after a takeaway delivery worker was pushed to the floor in an attempt to steal his pushbike.

The incident is reported to have happened outside a fast food restaurant in St George’s Street, Canterbury on Saturday October 28 between 8.30pm and 8.45pm.

When a hero restaurant worker intervened the two men fled empty-handed.

A police spokesman said: "The offenders were both wearing black tracksuit trousers.

"One was wearing a white T-shirt, the other a black T-shirt."
