Tinie Tempah disappoints fans at Club Chemistry in Canterbury

Nightclub bosses have promised to refund tickets to a flop Tinie Tempah gig after branding the rapper a "prima donna" and an "arrogant schmuck".
The Brit Award winner left crowds fuming after the much-hyped event at the city's Club Chemistry on Saturday night.
Fans had stumped up close to £40 to see the star, but after taking the stage at 3am, he performed just two songs before leaving the club in Station Road East, telling the crowd: "I'll see you on tour!"
Now club bosses have said they will refund all tickets to the "exclusive" event, which had been described as an "intimate gig" and an "opportunity not to be missed".
They wrote on Facebook: "Our attempt to get Tinie Tempah’s booking agent to refund the money has fallen on deaf ears.
"In fact, they haven’t even got the balls to answer the phone to us.
"Therefore, because we refuse to see our customers’ time and money being squandered so thoughtlessly, we will refund people ourselves, as well as giving anyone who had a ticket, free entry to our next big event, Drumsound & Bassline Smith on Saturday 25 April, with £2 drinks until 6am.
"We are assured they will actually perform because they are proper artists, not Prema donna, arrogant schmucks."
"If you are due a refund, please email vip@clubchemistry.co.uk and we will return your hard-earned money to you."
VIP ticket holders had even been promised to meet the man himself, but that opportunity never materialised.
University of Kent student Rachel Bailey, 19, and her friends had popped to the bathroom after Tinie's first song but returned half way through his second, only to find out that would be his last.
They first thought he was joking and may return for an encore, but as time went on it was clear that was not the case.
Rachel said: "As a student, I didn’t really have the money to spend nearly £40 on a ticket but as a big Tinie Tempah fan, I decided to go.
“He performed the two songs half heartedly as well. I’m so disappointed and angry. Having to wait around until 3.30am for two songs was extremely tiring and boring.
“I expect a full refund and can safely say he won’t be seeing me on tour.”
Keira Hannigan, 24, from Herne Bay, waited at the front of the stage for hours before Tinie’s arrival. She said: “Me and my friend were really looking forward to seeing Tinie Tempah and we couldn’t believe our luck when we managed to get tickets.
“We were not expecting him to perform a full set but we did think he would have done at least 30-45 minutes, so you can imagine our frustration when he turns up at 3am and then sings two songs and leaves soon after.
“We went to see Eminem last year at Wembley and he played for two hours – that was £60. I paid nearly £40 to see Tinie and he comes out and plays two songs. It’s disgraceful.
“Everyone should get refunds. It is just not acceptable.”
Other fans took to social media to vent their fury.
