Two people were hurt when their cars collided on the busy A28 in Thanington this morning.

A man and a woman suffered injuries not thought to be serious when one car smashed into the side of the other just after 10am.

It is not known what caused the crash, which happened between Thanington and the Milton Manor roundabout.

Police and ambulance crews were called at 10.10am and the road was closed for a short time while the cars were recovered.
