Canterbury teen robbed of phone and cash in St Dunstan's Street and Westgate Gardens

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of robbery after a 19-year-old had his mobile phone and a quantity of cash stolen.

The victim is reported to have had the phone taken by the two offenders in St Dunstan's Street at around 6pm on October 31.

He followed the suspects into the Westgate Gardens where it is alleged they then relieved him of cash.

Later that night patrols arrested a 20-year-old Canterbury man on suspicion of robbery.

The following day a second 20-year-old Canterbury man was arrested, also on suspicion of robbery.

One man has been bailed to November 8 and the other has been bailed to December 2 while enquiries continue.
