Manager Peter Nott says he will not rest until his Whitstable Town side clinch the crucial point which will ensure another season in Ryman League Division 1 South.

The Oystermen took a huge step closer to safety with a 2-1 win at Eastbourne Town last Saturday, but the club still require a point to ease their relegation fears.

An Ian Pulman strike and a penalty from Scott Heard secured the win, but Nott is urging his players to build on the result when already-relegated Horsham YMCA visit the Belmont on Saturday.

Nott said: "We have got three games left and we want to finish on a high. I won’t rest until we get that point which mathematically secures our safety.

"We need to instil that killer instinct in the final third and that is what I will be looking for."

After missing last Saturday’s game with an ankle injury, full-back Kane Harrington should return to the side but fellow defender Jermaine Darlington is a doubt with a cartilage problem.

Midfielder James Peacock will miss out as he begins a five-game suspension but Michael Yianni will be in contention for a place in the starting line-up.
