Female pillion motorcycle passenger injured after coming off on London Road Roundabout in Rheims Way, Canterbury

A woman has been hurt after coming off a motorcycle on a roundabout today.

Traffic coming into Canterbury is delayed by the accident, which happened at the London Road Roundabout just before noon.

The woman was riding pillion on the motorcycle and is believed to have fallen off and suffered back injuries.

Emergency crews are at the scene of the accident in Rheims Way
A woman was hurt in the accident

Two police cars, two ambulances and a fire engine attended the scene.

The woman was put on to a stretcher and placed into an ambulance.

Police say they have no other information about the accident.
