West End star Matt Cardle is coming to Canterbury with his "Live & Intimate" tour this summer.
The Brit Award nominee has sold over two million records in the UK since winning ITV's X Factor in 2010.
He will be previewing material from his new album "Higher Power" for the first time and wowing audiences at the Marlowe Theatre on Tuesday, July 5.
Matt performed in front of an audience of over two billion at the Miss World competition in Bali in 2013 and the "Live and Intimate" tour name focuses on singing for closer crowds with the same passion and intensity.
Aside from winning X Factor, his previous albums have all reached the top 10 and he is best known for "When We Collide" - one of the Top 40 best-selling singles of the last decade.
Among his achievements is an award presented last year for "Best West End Debut", following his role as Huey Calhoun alongside Beverly Knight in the acclaimed West End production Memphis.
He sought different avenues to exercise his vocal and songwriting talent after his solo releases.
This has included collaborations with popstar Melanie C with a top 10 hit "Loving You" and live performances with double Music of Black Origin award winning saxophonist YolanDa Brown.
