POLICE are investigating an assault on a 19-year-old student who suffered a suspected broken nose when he was head-butted in the street .

The incident occurred outside the Sainsbury store in Kingmead Road, Canterbury, at around 11pm on Friday February 17.

Police spokesman Michael Ivatt said: "The offender is described as a white man, aged about 18 who was wearing a blue zipped top and jeans.

"The attacker was with two other young men and two women at the time of the assault."
