Police are appealing for dashcam footage of a pursuit which ended with an arrest.

At about 5.30pm yesterday officers requested a Toyota Aygo to stop on the A28 Canterbury Road at Chartham.

The car did not stop and was pursued with the help of the force helicopter.

A 41-year-old man from Whitstable was arrested in the area of Chilham railway station on suspicion of dangerous driving.

He remains in custody.
