The final of a battle of the bands contest takes place on Sunday in the Old Brewery Tavern, Stour Street, Canterbury.

Four local acts have made it through with sessions in a recording studio on offer for the winners.

Solo acoustic artist Mark Nesbit, ska punk group The Plan, thrash metallers Neonhalo and indie/alternative rockers White Tower will battle it out from 8.30pm.

The event is being organised by Michael Caines Taverns, with support from sponsors Schweppes and Sailor Jerry.
