CANTERBURY Renault dealer Driveline was recently visited by Philippe Talou-Derible, the new managing director of Renault UK.

Mr Talou-Derible presented Driveline with a Dealer of Excellence 2001 plaque to mark its position as one of the best Renault dealerships in the UK.

The title is awarded annually by Renault UK to just 18 of the best performing Renault dealerships, from a UK network of more than 200. Driveline, with two dealerships - on Westminster Road in Canterbury and Hilton Road, Ashford - was ranked number two in the South East and sixth in the UK overall.

The judges are not just looking for business performance, but are also making sure dealerships implement Renault's style of customer care to a high standard.

Showrooms are judged on appearance, quality of workmanship and operating standards.

Gary Obee, dealer principal, said: "This is a fantastic achievement for the dealership and everyone who works here."
