A live acoustic version of their latest single will be performed by east Kent band Billy Wears Dresses on Monday.
The pop-rock four-piece will be playing This Is The Song at HMV in St Margaret’s Street, Canterbury, at 4.30pm.
The single, the first under their new record label Inline Records, is released on Monday.
Billy Wears Dresses comprises Nick Spink (lead vocals, acoustic guitar) from Whitstable, Paul Moss (vocals, bass guitar) from Canterbury and Martin Loft (vocals, lead guitar, mandolin, keyboards) and Ian Snowball (drums), both from Maidstone.
The four list Radiohead, The Libertines and Oasis among their influences.
Chris Harvey, of Inline Records, said; “The band have been working hard in the studio and the material they have for release is absolutely stunning.
“HMV Canterbury and HMV Maidstone are the only stores in Kent to sell the CD. But it is also available for digital download from iTunes.”
The band shot to local stardom after making it to the final of kmfm’s Battle of the Bands last year.
If you miss their performance on Monday you can also catch them at the Christmas lights switch-ons in Canterbury on November 20, Herne Bay on November 22, and Margate on November 29.
