A bin man has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a truck.
Ambulance crews were called to the scene in Goodnestone Road, Wingham, at about 10.40am, to a report a man had been pinned between a truck and a lorry.
They were joined at the scene by police and an air ambulance, which landed on Wingham Recreation Ground.
The man - a refuse worker who is thought to have been carrying out a bin collection at the time of the incident - suffered potentially serious injuries and was airlifted to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
Police say the driver of the truck involved in the collision "has been spoken to".
They are now looking into the incident, and are working to establish the circumstances of what happened.
Dover District Council, and private firm Veolia which operates bin collections in the area on behalf of the authority, have declined to comment.
