Firefighters have been tackling a huge haystack fire just off the A2.
Crews were called to the A2 London-bound at around 2.40am today after a motorist travelling on the A2 from Dover saw a haystack fire in a field near to the Lydden Hill junction.
Crews discovered two large haystacks of about 800 tonnes well alight, each with around 400 bales.
A fire fogging unit was used to cool stubble near the haystacks to prevent the fire spreading.
