“We have a beautiful little boy named Flynn.
“I gave birth to him naturally; without any pain medication.
“Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it.
“We are so happy and are enjoying our time together as a family.”
The Pirates of the Caribbean and Lord of the Rings star has put his multi-million pound Hollywood Hills pad up for rent at a budget busting £11,000 a month. It is not yet known where the couple are moving to.
Orlando, who regularly returns to his home city to see his family, began dating leggy Miranda in 2007.
The pair are known for keeping their private lives just that, and they married in a secret ceremony in July last year when Miranda was three months’ pregnant.
At the time Mrs Bloom admitted it was a struggle to keep the news that she was expecting her first child a secret.
While many women would shy away from a lens when seven months’ pregnant, Mrs Bloom looked stunning when she posed for W magazine’s December family issue.
On December 10, 2010, the 27-year-old couldn’t contain her excitement, tweeting ‘Hope you guys are having a great day... My belly is getting so much bigger. Can’t wait to see our little one for the first time. Love Randa.’
It is Orlando’s mother Sonia Copeland-Bloom’s first grandchild and the published writer, who still lives in the city, is looking forward to heading over to the States to meet the new arrival.
She said: “The whole family is ecstatic and mother and baby are both doing very well.
“We are all very excited and it is an amazing and wonderful thing.
“We couldn’t be happier, I’m truly overjoyed.
“Orlando was a good baby and I’m sure that his son will be too.”
