Police have confirmed the identity of a body found in Whitstable last Thursday.

Paul Day (pictured right) went missing from his home in Osprey Close, Seasalter seven months ago on January 21. The 44-year-old’s body was found by a dog walker in undergrowth near Duncan Down, behind South View Road.

An inquest into his death has been opened and adjourned.
