Body found in Wye in search for missing Canterbury man, 31

A body has been found in the search for a missing man.

Luke Brown was last seen in the early hours of Thursday, December 5, in the Hales Place area of Canterbury.

Police have today confirmed a body was found yesterday (December 26) in a rural area near Wye.

Formal identification has not yet taken place, but the family of a 31-year-old man who was reported missing on Thursday, December 5, have been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner.

Luke was last seen wearing a navy blue quilted coat, black T-shirt, dark blue jogging bottoms and Caterpillar boots.

He was believed to have been in the Chilham and Godmersham areas.
