A man’s body has been found in woodland behind a housing estate this morning.

The tragic discovery was made at about 10.20am - reportedly by two young boys - in Forrester Close, Canterbury.

Police were called to the scene and the body was taken away in a private ambulance.

A spokesman for the force says the death is not being treated as suspicious but enquiries are ongoing to identify the man.

Officers have since left the scene and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
