It’s life Jim, but not as we know it - an alien adventure has been experienced by pupils at St Stephen’s Junior School, Canterbury.

Six children from each year group had a go at producing a newspaper account of a crash involving visitors from outer space.

After surveying the crash scene, they had to interview the witness, school librarian Lynda Britnell.

They then had to write up a report for a newspaper, describe the scene, say what they thought had happened, write a letter to the paper and give an eyewitness account of the crash.

All the work is now on show in the school.
